Hi folks, I wanted to let you know about a great new book: “Yes, You CAN Get That Job!”, written by career transition management consultant Joanne Meehl, aka The Job Search Queen and The Resume Queen. This is a unique combination how-to manual and thesaurus to help the newly graduated become the newly employed. I am currently a sophomore at Bennington College in Vermont, and I am already finding this book a friendly and helpful guide as I begin thinking about possible careers for myself.

From the first cover letter to the final interview, “Yes, You Can Get That Job!” provides strategies and tips to enhance presentation skills and build self-confidence, helping new graduates bridge the connection between what they’ve accomplished in their own studies, internships and part-time or summer jobs and what the hiring manger is looking for.
